Hi, finally working my way through the technology and finding my way on Daily Paintworks. I am grateful for the new friends I have made on that site. Check it out when you have the chance.
It is a pretty day here in New York City and spring is in the air so I wanted to share this watercolor with you . I hope you enjoy it.
I have been busy painting as much as I can, traveling and getting ready to teach a class in Litchfield the week of March 19. Thanks for spending time looking at my work, I do appreciate it. Have a wonderful day.
I saw your painting on Dailypaintworks and just love it. Your paintings are very loose and free with beautiful light that is so appealing. I'm also very happy to have discovered the art of Charles Sovek on your links section. His website is so amazing and filled with great advice and beautiful works. Thank you, thank you.
ReplyDeleteRoss , thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate your encouragement. I am so happy to hear you like the Charles Sovek link. He was my first teacher and he taught me so much. We sure do miss him but I am glad his family has decided to keep his site up. I look at it often and find much inspiration there. His books are also well worth searching for , I use them often as well when I practice.
ReplyDeleteI certainly agree with Ross. Always, beautiful and fresh color and brushwork and this is no exception.
ReplyDeletep,s,-charles sovek was such a wonderful painter- really inspirational!
Thanks Mary. I really miss his inspiration too. He loved painting and sharing that love with others. I hope to keep that excitement and love for painting going and pass it along to others when I have the opportunity to do so. To change peoples ' I can't " into ' I CAN "
